Royal Doulton Nisbet Doll Named “Winter”  Shoulder Head/Cloth/Filler. #3783 Certificate of 5000.
This beautiful young lady is the creation of Alisa Nisbet. Alisa signed the doll on her petty coat. There is a picture taken of the signage. The bisque shoulder head is like new. The left hand and before elbow is also bisque. The body is solid filled (sawdust ?) with no leaks or tears. The doll is like new. She has been kept in a display cabinet.
The doll wears red satin dress with brown velvet trimmings.Her hat is also made from the brown velvet, with real birds feathers as embellishments. Her blonde hair,I believe, is similar to mohair. More like the Barbie number one ponytail doll’s.Very soft! She holds a brown velvet muff on her right hand.
The under garments are non-wrinkle permanent press light beige in color with trim. The black shoes seem to be a soft black leather, (?) with black cloth string for lacings.
The inside of the box has some yellow spots, due to age, from the glue. Blue satin material.
She also wears a wrist tag from the maker.
Condition: excellent.
