OLD VINTAGE THAI TRADITIONAL TOWER BELL FIGURE WOODEN STAND 22″ HOME DECOR
A Classical handbell 19/20th century, originating from the Golden Triangle Region which encompasses Burma, Laos, and Thailand. The bell, traditionally archaic in style, was masterfully crafted by indigenous hilltribe village Blacksmith, cast in home-made lost wax crucibles, set in a ground hearth.
The Clonk bell or ‘hka-lauk’ has its own distinctive characteristics, thickly cast in a circular shape, inside the middle of tower-wood. The ring tone echos a wonderfully sound, by the solid bronze clapper wired inside, providing a loud, and sonorous tone when in pendulous motion. The bell is presented on a wood base stand teakwood sticks.
